The soul cannot go back to God until it reaches perfection.
 
 
 
 
Because of the soul’s intimate contact with the body, it develops physical desires. These imperfect material attachments cling to the disembodied soul and prevent it from returning to the Spirit.
 
 
 
 
Immortal soul children are sent to the movie house of Life to make or to watch pictures of Life, both tragedies and comedies, with an unruffled equanimity.
 
 
 
 
The egoist, who works only to please himself, becomes caught in an endless net of desires, from which he can extricate himself only after many incarnations.

When you eat, work, think, play, meditate, and enjoy true earthly happiness just for please God, and not to please yourself, you are ever ready to remain here or to leave the earth without sorrow or attachment, according to God’s pleasure. Then you will not be forced back to earth.

The physical body is destroyed at death, yet it is created again by earthly desires. Consciousness directs all material creation.
 
 
 

First, destroy earthly desires; then, by higher meditation learn to take your soul out of the bondage of the three bodies into the ocean of Spirit.
